Fleet Foxes In The Entry On Sunday-Pitchfork Festival Webcast Beginning Tonight
Seattle's Fleet Foxes are set to play the sold out 7th Street Entry on Sunday night, one night after playing the also sold out Pitchfork Festival in Chicago. I'm pretty excited about this show, as I've never seen Fleet Foxes before, and their self titled record has been in constant rotation for me, especially on Sunday mornings (See their amazing video for 'White Winter Hymnal' below). It should be a great show, and I'm sure it will be plenty cozy in the Entry for this one. And for those (like me) that aren't making the trip to Chicago for the P'fork fest, there are a bunch of bands whose sets will be webcast here- Pitchfork Webcast. With all the great sets available (Public Enemy doing 'It Takes A Nation Of Millions' in it's entirety, Carribou, Hold Steady, Jarvis Cocker, Animal Collective, Boris, Spiritualized, Spoon, etc...Why am I not going to this fest again?) it's going to be tough to find time to see the Batman movie. Tough, but not impossible.
